As an artist, I value other ways of making and knowing that are rooted in dreams and subconscious sense memories that are revealed through gesture and poetic visual landscapes. My creative practice explores the architecture and interplay between time and space mining the potential for movement to be both an agent of social change and a space for introspection and connection. I am curious about the dialogue between softness and strength and the potential both have to create openings for care and risk-taking in choreographic practice.

I am a Bogotá-born Montreal-based contemporary dancer, choreographer and Butoh practitioner who has worked across Canada and internationally. I rooted my practice in values around care and collaboration, and embodiment as healing.
