Choreographed by Yesenia Fuentes and interpreted by her and Andrea Niño, Obatala accompanied the moving music by Carminda MacLorin in November 2012 during a presentation in the Rialto Theater. A Yoruba orisha that represents mother earth, Obatala asks humanity to pay attention to her voice and listen to what she has to say.
